Your money is protected
Edward Mellor Limited is a member of the Propertymark Client Money Protection (CMP) Scheme.
As part of our auction services, Edward Mellor may receive and hold money on behalf of clients and other parties to a property transaction. This can include, for example, auction deposits and other monies which are required to be paid into our designated client account.
Money held by Edward Mellor as client money is kept in a separate client bank account and is handled in accordance with our client money procedures.
Our membership of the Propertymark Client Money Protection Scheme provides protection for qualifying client money held by us in the event that Edward Mellor Limited were to misappropriate those funds or become insolvent in circumstances covered by the scheme.
