The Mog and Dog squad is set to open its doors this Saturday – and we’re all invited to the opening party.
The pup-friendly premises on Ashton Road will be offering an array of food and drink for people and their beloved pooches.
After successfully setting up their own pet sitting business, they noticed a lack of animal-friendly food and drink offerings in the area.
They decided it was time to cater to their furry friends and fill the gap in the market.
Now, after a crowdfunding campaign, lots of their own savings and a slight set back with the opening – they’re ready.
The Mog and Dog café will serve a selection of cakes, bakes and pastries as well as hot drinks.
Their four-legged customers will be able to dig into a variety of healthy treats available off the dog-friendly menu.
As if all of that wasn’t enough, they’ve got a shop area too! You’ll be able to buy a range of toys, accessories and healthy food treats for both dogs and cats.
It will also have a gift shop for animal-lovers, with many pieces designed by the Mog and Dog squad team.
“We chose Denton because we wanted to set up somewhere with a nice community vibe, and we feel like we’ve got that here.
“We want this to be a welcoming place for the whole community – and their pets!”
This is very much a ‘bring your own dog’ event as their pet sitting business only works on a home visit basis.
However, the owners do have a gorgeous dog called Mylo who will be a regular face in the café – and we’re sure he won’t refuse a tummy tickle.
The opening party is this Saturday the 22nd of September from 10 am until 2 pm.
