The Edward Mellor team swapped property chat for pop trivia this week as staff took part in the World’s Biggest Online Music Quiz in aid of Cash for Kids — and helped make history in the process.
Led by Ant & Dec, the nationwide quiz brought thousands of people together online, with millions more tuning in across Bauer Media radio stations, including Hits Radio, Greatest Hits Radio, Magic Radio, Absolute Radio and more.
The event was officially verified by Guinness World Records, setting a new title for the largest online music quiz!
For the Edward Mellor team, it was a brilliant opportunity to get involved in something fun, fast-paced and genuinely meaningful. From chart-toppers to guilty pleasures, the quiz tested everyone’s music knowledge — but the real win was helping to raise vital funds for children and young people who need support most.
Cash for Kids is dedicated to helping disadvantaged children and young people across the UK. The charity supports those affected by poverty, illness, neglect and additional needs, working with local communities, businesses and organisations to provide grants and practical help where it is needed most.
That local focus is one of the reasons Edward Mellor is proud to support the campaign. Money raised through the Greater Manchester fundraiser stays in the area, helping local children, families and organisations through the Cash for Kids Impact Grants programme.
