During February, the Hyde property market continued to prosper due to the higher level of stock available as we head into spring. Overall, the Hyde property market has a healthy buyer cycle and is a prosperous market for sellers.

A current trend we are seeing with first-time buyers is a preference for ‘move-in ready’ homes. Due to the reduction of mortgage rates, buyers are borrowing against the banks and buying properties in better condition at a higher price, rather than an investment property. This infers that first-time buyers have less disposable income to spend on refurbishing a property, therefore the condition of a home is generally a deciding factor.
