With 2025 well and truly underway, it’s time to take stock and evaluate the Hyde property market.

However, this month we saw and increase in onwards movers seeking to upsize into 2-3 bedroom semi-detached properties. The condition of the property appears to be of increasing importance to buyers with modern and trendy décor attracting the most interest.

This infers that the average deposit size for buyers appears to be smaller and there is less available cash for renovations or home improvements. Buyers are preferring to pay a higher price for a ‘turn-key’ property and then borrow more money against the mortgage due to the lack of disposable income.
