June 2017 Proeprty Auction

June Auction Lots 2017

Our North West property auction is right around the corner, and we’ve got a near-record number of lots set to go under the hammer next Monday at the AJ Bell Stadium in Salford.

For those of you who are new to the scene, our property auctions are fast becoming the largest and most popular auction in the North West, as more landlords and sellers discover an effective alternative to conventional selling through an estate agent.

The forthcoming auction will feature 69 lots, with many interesting properties from across Manchester, Stockport, Bolton, Wigan, Preston, Oldham, Burnley, Merseyside, Cheshire and North Wales.

Two luxury duplex apartments at Valley Mill in Cottonfields, Bolton, are included in the June auction:

As well as the well known Royal Oak public house in Stockport Town Centre and a number of commercial premises across Greater Manchester including an industrial unit at Trafford Park.

In addition, St Buan Church near Pwhelli in North Wales features after having to be withdrawn due to a technical issue with the title. Rebuilt in the late 18th Century, this neo-Romanesque church is considered suitable for a variety of uses subject to planning with a guide price of £80,000.

Edward Mellor co-auctioneer Nick Green explained: “We had 76% of lots at our April auction going for above the guide price and the upward trend is patently clear. Auctions are a viable way of selling your property quickly and effectively without the hassle associated with the open market

“We’ve witnessed an 11% increase in the number of properties across the North West region coming to auction over the past 12 months with a growing number of property sellers surprised by how much they can get over and above the guide price. But it’s a nice surprise!

“By waiving the fees for sellers whose properties fail to sell we are taking away the risks associated with going to auction and we expect to see even more demand and interest over the coming weeks and months,” added Nick.
