Despite the odd week of winter weather, courtesy of the Beast from the East, we’ve actually had a fantastic February here at Edward Mellor Levenshulme.
Our sales team have been extremely busy this month achieving some incredible results for our vendors. We’ve sold an array of properties in and around Levenshulme over the asking price in a matter of weeks which has led to a lot of smiley sellers.
One vendor was so happy with the price we achieved for her property, she sent us gifts and a cards to say thank you – how lovely!

Our secret to success comprises of a bullet proof marketing strategy, a large database of qualified buyers and bags of enthusiasm!
We’ve registered a large number of new buyers this month, all looking for their perfect property in Levenshulme. Although our local property valuer, Steve Hoyne, has been hard at work instructing an array of beautiful new homes, we seem to sell properties just as quickly as we instruct them!
Demand certainly outstrips supply here in Levenshulme which is partly why we’ve achieved record selling prices for our vendors in such a short space of time!
It’s not just the property market that’s been buzzing with activity as we move toward the warmer weather!
Levenshulme’s vibrant town centre has some exciting stuff going on this spring that we’d love to share with you lot.
We’re delighted to welcome back the fabulous Levenshulme Market which provides a vibrant mix of street food, specialist deli style products and artisan gifts. They also have an array of live entertainment for the whole family to enjoy every Saturday right the way through to December.

We would also like to give a warm welcome to a new face in our lovely town centre, the Station Hop. We’ve already sampled, maybe one too many of their craft beers and ales and as we’re only a 30 second walk from the office, it’s safe to say we’ll be back!
If you’re familiar with Levenshulme, you might remember the Old Buttery. There’s been a few rumours flying around with speculation of what will become of the old site – and it all sounds very exciting. If the grapevine has this one right, then there’s some really exciting times ahead for all of us socialites and foodies that will really enhance and push forward our already amazing community.
With all of this activity happening within the property market and our lovely, little community there’s never been a better time to live in Levenshulme.
