Edward Mellor has enjoyed a lively presence in Marple for many years but our new office, located in the former NatWest Bank on Market Street, puts us in an even better position to continue supporting clients at every stage of their property journeys.

The grand opening of our new Marple office took place on Friday 7th of February. On the big day, our expert team was on hand to greet our guests and offer all the professional advice you’d expect from a busy estate agent.
However, the day wasn’t simply business as usual. To celebrate the opening of our new office, we were happy to greet customers old and new and curious visitors who wanted to pop in for a chat.
The office was decorated in preparation for the arrival of guests, including the addition of an impressive balloon arch provided by Balloon Ur Room.
Guests were also treated to complimentary food and drink, with our delicious branded cupcakes from Baked By Leah proving extremely popular!
The day was full of friendly, sociable conversations and a fantastic way to mark a new chapter for Edward Mellor in Marple.
“I’ve lived in Marple all my life and I am very proud of the new office space that Edward Mellor has created, it’s warm, welcoming and very comfortable,” says Vendor Performance Manager, Nicola Mather.
“I have had so many positive comments from members of the local community complimenting what a good job EM has done restoring an extremely well-known building. Six weeks in and I am still excited about coming to work in our new office!”
There’s obviously a lot of work that goes into setting up a brand new office and preparing for a successful grand opening, so we’d like to take a moment to thank everyone involved for their support in making this special event a day to remember.
Although our grand opening was held earlier this month, our new Marple Office has been open for business for several weeks.
A lot of thought has been put into the design of the office interior, with dedicated workspaces, a comfortable spot with sofas for more casual, friendly conversations, and private offices for important discussions.
We’ve also introduced several personal touches, such as our ‘Monopoly wall’, which features local areas presented as space as they appear on a Monopoly board.
By combining everything you’d expect from a modern estate agent’s office with a friendly aesthetic, we’ve created the perfect space for members of the local community to both buy and sell property.
During our grand opening, we booked valuations and viewings and were also on hand to offer general advice to those thinking of making a move.
We’re open and ready for business and look forward to continuing to support the Marple community at every stage of buying and selling property.
