Covid19 has put a lot of things on hold but the way in which we hold our online property auctions at Edward Mellor has not been put on hold.
We are to taking care of all our buyers and sellers and taking part couldn’t be easier, and we explain how easy it is.
Our online auctions are easy and straight forward allowing you to buy or sell from the comfort of your own ‘current’ home. We have all the traditional auction benefits of buying, it is fast, it is easy it is the new way to buy and sell a property.
We have a dedicated area within our website for the property auction and we display all our properties that are available within our monthly online auction catalog. You can find the latest auction details for February 2021 along with previous auctions and our calendar of dates for 2021.
A majority of our auction properties will have virtual viewing which allows for a prospective buyer just like you to view panoramic photos that have been put together to make a visual reality tour. We have found our virtual viewings are giving our bidders the opportunity to view a number of properties and are then able to make an informed decision of which property is best suited to bid on.
We have terms and conditions for our prospective buyers that give you useful information as to what to do before during and after our property auctions. We recommend that you take some time to read the terms and conditions before entering the auction to bid on a property. Notice to Prospective buyers.
Our auctions are very busy and we have an average of over 400 people registered to bid each month, with the number of bidders growing each month.
You will need to create an auction account to enable you to bid, you will need your email address and a secure password. There some personal details that will be required too and we will verify your email address which you will need to click to verify and activate your account. If you do not activate your account you will not be able to bid within the auction.
Buying a property at auction is a great alternative to buying through the traditional routes of an estate agent especially if you see auction purchasing as an investment opportunity. But the speed of purchasing is very different and you do have to have the funds ready and available for the time you are bidding.
Be aware that once the hammer is dropped that is the final bid placed and legally the property is then yours. You will then have a further 28 days to complete the purchase and complete the sale.
If you require funding for your auction purchase Edward Mellor Auctions has worked with Together for a number of years to help arrange auction finance. Don’t lose out on a property that you want to bid on if you just don’t quite have enough funds. You can have a confidential chat with the team at Together and look at a short term finance option.
Dealing with a loved one’s estate after they have passed can be very overwhelming and not many of us will know where to start. We can offer a helping hand and provide assistance in looking after the property whilst you decide how you will move forward.
