The Tameside beer festival is back this weekend with a pretty awesome selection of pints for you to try.
You can expect over 30 craft beers, a selection of tasty grub and loads of live entertainment at the civic hall in Stalybridge.
Not only is there plenty of choice on offer – but at £3 a pint you can try as many as you like without breaking the bank.
The two-day event, hosted by Tameside Rotary, is all in aid of three chosen charities. This year the event will be raising money for the British Lung Foundation, Dementia UK and Tameside Admiral Nurses. There’s never been a better reason to get the bevvies in!
If you’re not the biggest fan of beer, there will be a variety of ciders, wines and soft drinks for you to enjoy too.
Although beer is the headliner at this weekend’s event, the live entertainment has become a big part of the festival.
They’ve gathered some of Tameside’s most talented performers for you to watch over the weekend. Expect performances from tribute bands, Tameside Community Voices and a variety of other singers.
There will also be a special performance from child Latin American Ballroom dancers, Lexie and Christopher, from Britain’s got talent!
They’ve even brought in an Oompah Band, which as we all know is an essential component of any successful beer festival.

To soak it all up, there will be curries, pies and a selection of other tasty things to eat.
You can pay £3 on the door or you can buy a programme and use that as admission.
This year’s festival will take place on Friday 7th & Saturday 8th September 2018 from 12.00noon till 11.00pm.
