Theatre enthusiasts and art lovers across Greater Manchester are in for a real treat this July!
We’ve got a whole month of live performances to look forward to as we see the start of both the Levy and Greater Manchester Fringe festival.
With over 100 events taking place at venues across the region, ranging from serious to surreal, there’s bound to be something that takes your fancy.
Expect to see drama, stand-up comedy, children’s shows, clowns, poetry, puppetry, live music and so much more.
Although this will be 7th annual Greater Manchester Fringe festival, the Levy festival is a fairly new addition.
This intimate festival held in one of Manchester’s most popular suburbs will be showcasing the very best live entertainment Levenshulme has to offer.
Performances will take place in the Old Library in Levenshulme and other interesting venues dotted around the area.
The festival officially kicked off today, Thursday the 4th of July, and is set to run for 10 days until the 14th.
If this local festival sounds like your cup of tea, there’s still time to book tickets onto a whole range of shows and workshops.
