Stockport is set to experience its best Christmas yet!
An amazing collection of events is due to entertain every one of all ages in the run up to the big day in Merseyway, Market Place, Underbank and all over Stockport.
Expect to see the return of the popular ice trail and loads of Christmas markets offering festive foods and treats as well as free entertainment.
Make sure not to miss out on your free ride on the Polar Express either!
What: 2019 Christmas Light Switch On
Where: Merseyway Shopping Centre
When: Saturday 16th November from 4:15pm – 7:30pm
Make sure to look out for the Snow Fairy, who will be kicking off the event at 4:15pm ahead of the big switch on.
Local singers, Lola Goddard and Sam Sharpe will also be taking to the stage and helping the crowd get into the festive spirit, while local choirs will be singing your all-time favourite Christmas songs.

All aboard! Don’t miss your chance to take a FREE ride on Stockport’s very own Polar Express! The land train will leave Chestergate every 15 minutes between 10am-4pm and will last around 10 minutes.
