An Update From Us

Yesterday the Government announced that estate agents in England could reopen their doors.

Whilst our offices have remained shut during lockdown, our dedicated teams have been working remotely from home throughout this period.

Utilising modern technology, our teams have continued to communicate with our clients, ensuring all areas of the business remain functioning and supported.

During lockdown, we’ve registered a substantial amount of interest from buyers and tenants.

We’ve seen a massive spike in house hunters taking advantage of our virtual interactive tours over the last few weeks.

Through the use of our tours, buyers have been able to take a good look at a variety of houses, inside and out, from the safety of their own homes.

In fact, many buyers we’ve been in communication with are ready to make an offer once a personal viewing can take place.

The same is also true for sellers.

We now have a large number of clients looking to sell their property and take advantage of the pent up demand that has built up over the last 7 weeks.

Operations moving forward

At Edward Mellor, we can’t wait to get back to what we love doing most – helping you make your perfect move.

But before we do, we need to make sure we’re operating in a way that keeps you – our clients, our staff and our communities safe.

We are currently waiting for guidelines from the Government on how property visits should be carried out and expect to have all the details we need within the next 24 hours.

In the meantime, those that have pre-booked appointments will receive a call from our team today to arrange a suitable day and time next week.

Whilst we’re currently taking steps to make sure our offices are safe and operational, they won’t be open to the public.

This is another measure we’re taking so that we can meet your property and financial needs whilst focusing on our number one priority – your safety.

We are offering appointments via video conference calls and telephone, depending on your preferences.
