This is a house full of character possibly dating back to the 18th Century and we believe was probably altered in the early 19th Century and is included for group value with the neighbouring locally listed buildings of Offerton Fold.
The listing states it is included because of brick laid in English garden wall bond, slate roof. Replacement openings, the windows beneath slightly cambered heads of brick laid on end with stone sills. Door offset to the left, one window per floor. Extension on left-hand side seems to be a C20 rebuilding of an earlier building.
The accommodation comprises living room, lounge, dining room, bedroom and wet room to the ground floor, the first floor has a further bedroom. Externally there is a pleasant garden to the rear and side with scope for parking to the south of the site via gates.
The identification of buildings or groups of buildings of local interest helps to ensure that owners, developers and other interested parties are aware of their local importance and merit. In this way we will seek sensitive treatment where renovations or alterations are proposed. This will be done through the control of development or by giving advice.
Any queries that prospective buyers may have regarding development and repair of the building should be directed to Stockport Council directly for advice.
EPC on order. Floor plans are for guidance only.
The property has structural issues which may make the property non-mortgageable.
Any party wishing to buy with a mortgage is advised to speak directly to their mortgage advisor and surveyor or are welcome to speak to Edward Mellor Financial Services for advice.
Vacant on completion, property bought "as is".
