During the coming festive season, we’re thrilled to be partnering with Cash for Kids to spread some Christmas cheer.
Cash for Kids is a wonderful grant-giving charity that help’s disadvantaged children across the UK, dealing with everything from poverty and neglect to illness and additional needs. Throughout 2022 the organisation raised £20.4 million across the UK, supporting 489,409 children.
During the cold winter months their message of giving is more important than ever, which is why the team at Edward Mellor have been so busy showing their support for Cash for Kids and its Mission Christmas campaign.
There are lots of ways to get involved, with fundraising events happening across the UK, local drop off points for toy donations and opportunities to donate online via the cash for Kids website.
As part of the campaign, our local branches across Stockport, Cheshire and Tameside have been battling it out in a friendly competition to see who can come up with the best dressed branch at Edward Mellor.

To make a donation to Kids for Cash and cast your vote in our ‘Best Dressed Branch Competition’, simply follow the rules below. It’s easy!
1) Vote in our ‘Best Dressed Branch’ Competition
To vote for your favourite Edward Mellor branch, you’ll need to head over to our survey and tell us which one you liked the best.
Once you’ve cast your vote, you’ll need to make a donation to make it count. To do this, simply navigate to our donation page and click ‘sponsor us’. Remember, that the name you use to make your donation must match the name you enter to vote for your favourite Edward Mellor branch – it helps us keep track of which elf is who…
2) Making your Donation
Making a donation to Mission Christmas is a massive help to children across the UK – thank you!
When you make a donation in conjunction with a vote in our ‘Best Dressed Branch’ contest, every pound you donate will equal one vote. So, giving £20 is like giving 20 votes.
If you can’t pick a favourite, or don’t have a passion for shop windows, don’t worry – you can still donate! Any donation, big or small, will be greatly appreciated and go a long way to brightening a child’s day.
