Family at the park

Things to do in and around Greater Manchester this bank holiday

May has arrived and with this comes multiple bank holidays!

Although this upcoming bank holiday may not be looking as dazzling as the Easter bank holiday, there’s still loads of fun things to do over the three-day weekend.

Here are just a few fun activities you could do with the family this bank holiday.

Trampoline park

With specialist jump socks firmly on your feet, step into a world of wall-to-wall trampolines to really put a spring in your step.

Trampoline parks are home to everything from dodgeball courts and tumble lanes to foam pits and Rush Wipeout. Some even have battle beams too – so don’t miss your chance to channel your inner Gladiator!

Open Jump sessions are suitable for everyone aged 4+, so there are no excuses for the grown-ups not to get involved too!

Trampoline parks, Jump Heaven, in Hazel Grove and Energi, in Handforth are both open over the bank holiday weekend – so make sure you check them out.

Family walk

A nice scenic walk is a great way to get some exercise in whilst enjoying some quality family time.

If you’re looking for a nice park to take the family to over the bank holiday weekend, here are just a handful of Greater Manchester’s top-rated parks:
