If you’re a foodie who can’t resist a good feast, clear your calendar for this weekend.
The Marple food and drink festival is back in town… and it’s set to be bigger and better than ever before.
Marple’s most talented butchers, bakers and fairy cake makers will be taking over the Market Street area of the town next Saturday.
This year’s stallholders are showcasing even more mouth-watering treats for you to try from 10 am until 4 pm.
Not only will there be an incredible selection of sweet and savoury food, but there’s going to be homemade gifts on offer too.
If you find yourself full to the brim on the day, you can wander around a variety of awesome arts and craft stalls and get your hands on some pretty special gifts.
Although food and drink have stolen the spotlight at this family-friendly festival, there’s going to be loads of live entertainment.
Expect music from the Marple band and 10 talented buskers who will be providing a variety of tunes for you to boogie to.
To top it all off, they’ve even organised some fun activities for the little ones. The kids can get their face painted and create something to take home at the crafts station.
